Seriously, this should never have happened, but the world works in mysterious ways, and has given me QUITE the confidence boost today.  For today, [info]jamietr and I completed our marathon game of Scrabulous on Facebook (see [info]strausmouse, there is usefulness to social networking).  And today, I pulled out a decisive win against our resident wordsmith.  Woohoo!  I'm still smart!  The proof is in the scrabble board...

Faggy? Come on...that's a real word?

There were a few questionable words on both sides. "Lo" and "Ex" and "Na" are a few more examples. But we had the opportunity to challenge each other and decided that the questionable words made the game more challenging.

Oh, so you prefer to play the cheater way? Man, I'd mop the floor with both of you...I only use real words.

um, lo and ex are not questionable words. lo as in lo and behold? used all the time. ex, as in my ex is a real faggy douchebag? yeah.

I competition Scrabble, I don't think those words are allowed. But we're not playing competition Scrabble. And besides, like I said, it makes the game more challenging. In another game I'm playing, I used all 7 letters for the word "lixivia", which I recalled from organic chemistry (I did have to check the spelling, though). It got me 85 points.

Nevertheless, Lisa made a nice come-from-behind win.

Lo, Ex, Na, and Faggy are all in the official tournament dictionary.
